- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Roll out pie crust and fit into a 9-inch tart pan.
- Peel, core and cut the apples into 1/3-inch thick slices.
- Put the apples in a bowl and toss with the lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon.
- Arrange the apples in the tart crust in a spiral, overlapping slightly.
- Scatter the cranberries over the apples.
- Sprinkle the light brown sugar over the tart and dot with butter.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
