• 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
• 2-3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
• 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro (also known as coriander or Chinese parsley) chopped
• 3 green onions, chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon of red chili flakes (optional)
• 2 tablespoons of chopped peanuts

Instructions

This recipe takes about 25 minutes to complete. Here are the steps:

1. In a wok or a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
2. Add the chicken strips, shrimp, soy sauce, tamarind paste, fish sauce, brown sugar and red chili flakes (if using). Cook and stir for about 5 minutes.
