# Homestyle Chicken with Rice and Gravy
Everyone knows the classic dinner meal – chicken and rice with a rich gravy. But what if you could jazz up your dinner by adding a few simple ingredients? With just a few extra items, you can create a flavor-packed dish that you can serve to your family and friends!

* 2 Chicken Breasts
* 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
* 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
* 1/4 teaspoon Chili Powder
* 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
* Salt and Pepper to taste
* 2 cups cooked Rice
* 2 cups Chicken Broth
* 1/4 cup all-purpose Flour
* 2 tablespoons Butter
1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Grease a baking sheet with a teaspoon of olive oil.
3. Place the chicken breasts on the baking sheet.
4. In a small bowl, combine paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning blend over the chicken breasts.
5. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until internal temperature reads 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
6. While the chicken is baking, prepare the gravy.
7. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
8. Once the butter is melted, add in the all-purpose flour. Whisk together until the flour is completely incorporated.
9. Continue to whisk the mixture for one minute, until the flour is lightly browned.
10. Slowly pour in the chicken broth, whisking the entire time.
11. Bring the gravy to a boil, whisking every few minutes to prevent lumps from forming. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes, until the gravy has thickened.
12. To serve, plate the cooked rice on a plate. Then top with a chicken breast, and ladle the gravy over top.
